Below are sample images taken with the G5 and 3 different teleconverters.  All are Large/Superfine straight from the camera.  The G6 will produce identical results, with a 2mp improvement in resolution over the G5.  In each series of images, the first shows the G5 with the native lens at full zoom.  The second with the conversion lens at full zoom, and the third with the conversion lens zoomed back to the point where vignetting* begins. *Vignetting refers to the corners darkening, eventually resulting in a round image as the lens is zoomed back to wide angle when a teleconverter is mounted.

Native G3-no adapter, no converter. f 5.6 full zoom focal length- 28.8mm or (140mm)	LensMate 58 with converter f 5.6 full zoom focal length- 50.4mm [28.8mm X 1.75] or (245mm)	LensMate 58 with converter f 5.6 zoomed back out to the point at which vignetting begins. focal length- 28mm [16mm X 1.75] or (136mm)

G6/G5/G3 and the Kenko KNT-20 2X-

Here are some sample shots using the converter on the G3 utilizing LensMate's 52mm Adapter. Since the native size of this converter is 52mm, no step rings are required. Focal lengths are listed by actual and the 35mm equivalent in parentheses including the effects of the converter

G6/G5/G3 and the Tiffen Megaplus 2X-

Here are some sample shots using the converter on the G3 utilizing LensMate's 52mm Adapter. Since the native size of this converter is 43mm, LensMate's 52-43 thin step-ring was also required. Focal lengths are listed by actual and the 35mm equivalent in parentheses including the effects of the converter.
